Delivery Method

Pallet Delivery

Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries will be made to the bottom of the driveway or kurbside only, using a vehicle with a taillift (a platform which lowers down). Whilst our delivery team aim to be as helpful as possible, they will not unpack or be responsible for any further positioning of your goods.

The pallet is lowered to the ground using an electric taillift and pulled off using a manual pallet truck. Therefore, it is very important that the surrounding ground is flat and level such as concrete or tarmac. Grass, Gravel and Soil are not suitable. Should the carrier encounter problems with delivery as a result of the failure to disclose any relevant information, you will be responsible for full costs of aborted delivery.

Suitable access may be needed for a 20ft lorry or additional charges may apply.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a call from your local delivery depot to arrange a suitable delivery date. The time of delivery cannot be confirmed so please be available to accept the delivery between 7am and 6pm.

Preparing for Delivery

Please follow the steps below to help your delivery go as smoothly as possible:
- Ensure there is suitable access (for up to a 20ft lorry) and the ground is suitable to accept a pallet/taillift delivery. (the pallet may weigh up to 1 tonne.)
- When contacted to arrange delivery, please advise your local depot of any constraints which may hinder delivery. It is also advisable to confirm your contact details and give extra phone numbers as the driver may need to get in touch.
- If possible, have someone taking delivery who is able to help the driver when positioning and unloading as this is sometimes needed.

IMPORTANT - DELIVERY SCHEDULES MAY OCCASIONALLY BE DELAYED

Whilst every effort is made to ensure your goods arrive on time, deliveries can be delayed for various reasons. Please do not book trades or hire equipment for the expected day of delivery in case your delivery is delayed. It is advisable to receive delivery of your goods before making further arrangements.

We cannot be held liable for consequential loss arising from delayed delivery.
